Holiday Outfit Inspiration

December 3, 2019

The holiday season is here and I couldn’t be more excited to share with you four holiday inspired looks. These classic looks can take you from Christmas party to New Years party with simple changes!

This outfit is truly stunning from head to toe. The sequin and pearl detail on the top is to die for. It has a comfortable cotton back and runs true to size. It looks gorgeous paired with these velvet paper bag waist pants but could also be paired with skirts, coated jeans, faux leather pants, really so many options!

I love the warm texture of the velvet pants and with so much detail on the top, you truly don’t need much in the way of accessories. This top really is great alone.

Shop this look and other items that would look great with it here:

Classic holiday style with a tartan halter and pull on satin midi skirt! Both items run slightly generous in size, wearing a 2 in the top and an XS in the skirt. For reference, I’m 5’2 and currently a 2/4.

This skirt could be paired with so many items, try a graphic tee to make it more casual, or pair it with the sequin top from above. It’s truly versatile, so comfortable and the color is gorgeous. Definitely a show stopper!

What’s more holiday inspired than Tartan. This halter scream Holiday Cheer and I love that! The bow back detail is the perfect touch. It has a slightly boxy fit but looks great tucked in, or more casual with velvet leggings, you could also dress it up for work with a blazer.

Shop this outfit and other pieces that would look great with it here:

Another spin on the satin midi skirt. Loving it paired with this winter white blazer and white bodysuit. To add a pop of color, I paired my pink pumps and statement earrings.

Sizing: Skirt size down one | Bodysuit: if in between go up | Blazer TTS | Size up 1/2 size in the shoes

Had to save this one for last, I’m sure you can see why!

Full sequin pants! So fun and sassy and definitely a showstopper! These run true to size and have a nice high rise. I have them paired with one of my favorite satin camis that comes in a eight colors, and a tuxedo velvet blazer. This outfit screams fun and could totally work for a Christmas party or even New Years Eve (change the color of the cami).

Change the look of these pants completely by pairing them with an tunic sweater and either flats or a classic black pointed toe heel.

Styling a Leopard Skirt

November 7, 2019

This month I’ve teamed up with Olive Boutique to share with you how I style their satin leopard skirt. This piece is so sassy and surprisingly versatile! Perfect for date night, a holiday event, and can even be dressed down for a casual outing. If you like it, you’ll definitely love other pieces on their site and for the next few days you can get 15% off your entire order with code KRISTY15 at checkout! Expires November 15th.

When I saw this skirt I knew I needed to pair it with my new combat boots. This pairing might be one of my favorites! The shoes run TTS, they’re very comfortable and on trend. I can’t wait to style them more. My leather jacket is sold out but I’m linking a great option. It’s not the same style but it’s so cute, has great reviews and is under $100. You can shop the rest of this look with these links

Baby products we’re loving at Walmart

October 17, 2019

Pink Tunic Sweater | Baby Lotion | Baby Oil | Baby Wipes | Baby Blanket

ba•by (noun) a little bit of heaven sent down to earth.

This month I’ve teamed up with Walmart to share with you some of my favorite baby products. Walmart has everything you need for that little piece of heaven. Whether you’re shopping for your baby or a baby shower gift, they have it all! As a mom of three I feel like I’ve started to weed out the unnecessary baby items and really focus on what’s most important. Today I’m sharing a few of those items.

I’m loving their exclusive brand, Parents Choice, it offers so many quality products at a great value and they’re celebrating their 20th anniversary this month! We started using Parents Choice wipes and I feel good knowing that they’re dermatologically tested, FSC certified, and free from bleach/elemental chlorine/latex/perfumes. Great wipes are a must in this house and I’m really liking these.

Walmart carries many high quality brands including plant based products that I feel good about using on my Kolette and her siblings. My kids love a good bubble bath but not all brands are gentle on sensitive skin. I’ve been using this lavender bubble bath and love it! It smells great, creates good bubbles and it’s gentle on my girl’s sensitive skin.

We’ve been having a hard time getting Kolette down for bed especially because she’s teething and I read that baby massage can help. My plan is to start adding baby massage into our bedtime routine, I’ve heard that it can help ease teething pains and soothe baby to sleep. I purchased this baby oil and it’s perfect for massage, so far I really like it!

Here are more items from Walmart that I’m loving!

Thank you Walmart for sponsoring this post. Everything was selected by me and all opinions are my own. Thank you for reading and allowing me to share what I love.
